Road Closure Notification
In order to perform sewer main repairs in the area, the 300 block of Palmetto St on St. Simons Island, between Third Ave and Fourth Ave, will be closed to thru traffic from 7:00 a.m. on Friday, February 27, 2015 until 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 4, 2015. Homeowners will be able to access their driveways, unless otherwise informed by the crew onsite, but all other traffic should be prepared to take another route.

Local Pretreatment Program Approval
In accordance with Chapter 391-3-6-.09, Rules and Regulations for Water Quality Control, notice is hereby given of approval by the Georgia Environmental Protection Division of changes to a local pretreatment program for the Brunswick-Glynn County Joint Water & Sewer Commission. The pretreatment program provides for the administration and enforcement of pretreatment standards for industrial users of the publicly owned treatment works.
This approval is a response to our formal ‘Notice of Application for Approval of Local Limits Evaluation to the Academy Creek WPCP in the Glynn County Industrial Pretreatment Program’ available at our website at the following address: http://www.bgjwsc.org/public-notice-academy-creek-wpcp-local-limits-evaluation/

Road Closure – 1500 Block Tillman Ave, Brunswick – February 18, 2015
Attention – Road Closure
Tillman Ave will be closed to thru traffic from F Street and Gloucester St beginning 8:30 a.m. Wednesday, February 18, 2015 until 5:00 p.m. Friday, February 20, 2015. This work is being performed in order to replace a failing sewer main. Please be prepared to take another route during this time.
