Approval<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Minutes of the June 3, 2014 meeting, <em>(subject<\/em> <em>to<\/em> <em>any<\/em> <em>necessary<\/em> <em>changes)<\/em><em>.<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><em>\u00a0<\/em><u>Commissioner Cason made a motion seconded by Commissioner Boland to approve<\/u> <u>the minutes of the June 3. 2014 meeting. Motion carried 3-0-0.<\/u><\/p>\n<p>Discussion<\/p>\n<p>1. Electoral Cycle<\/p>\n<p>Commissioners discussed the benefits of adding language that would move the election of JWSC candidates to the nonpartisan primary election in conjunction with the general primary and provide for terms of elected members.<\/p>\n<p><u>Commissioner Boland made a motion seconded by Commissioner Cason to<\/u> <u>change <\/u><u>t<\/u>he <u>terms <em>for <\/em>elected <\/u><u>members in subsequent years . Motion carried 3-0-0<\/u>.<\/p>\n<p><u>Commissioner Boland made a motion seconded by Commissioner Cason to<\/u> \u00a0<u>approve language that all future commission candidates must either choose to run<\/u> <u>as <\/u><u>elected or<\/u> <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">apply for appointment by Grand Jury. Motion carried 3-0-0.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><u>Commissioner Boland made a motion seconded by Commissioner Cason<\/u> <u>that a<\/u>ll <u>consolidated amendments to the Local Act. Operational Agreement and<\/u> \u00a0<u>Water &amp; Sewer <\/u><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Ordinances move forward to the full Board of Commissioners for their action.
