Crosby

Mr. Junkin advised that the Request For Proposal was released for the Design/Build Services for the 2016 SPLOST North Mainland Sewer Improvements Project-Phase 1. This portion of the Project will serve to address the immediate demand needs for capacity. The full process for Phase 1 from RFP to completion should take about 11 months. The Design/Build process is being done on this Project in order to expedite provision of capacity, and allow JWSC to move as fast as possible to resolve the North Mainland issues. The expectation is that a Design Engineer will be provided the large scope of what is needed, and then layout the plan for how to proceed and execute the design at a Guaranteed Maximum Price for Project construction and completion. The Proposers will be required to present a 30% design within their formal Proposal for consideration of award of the Project.

Lift Station 4048 Update – J.
