Water Service Outage and Lane Closure – Longview Plaza, SSI – March 23, 2015
As of 2:00 PM, Frederica Road on St. Simons Island, adjacent to Longview Plaza, is down to one lane with traffic control. In response to a water leak in the area, BGJWSC crews are onsite repairing a broken valve that is located in the street. Service may be intermittent. Please plan your route around this intersection, if you are able.
The BGJWSC apologizes in advance for the inconvenience.
Update: As of 7:30 March 23, 2015, service has been been fully restored and both lanes of Frederica Road are now operational.

Water Service Outage in Glynn Haven on St. Simons Island – March 19, 2015
Water service will be unavailable in the Glynn Haven area of St. Simons Island from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. today, March 19, 2015, for the repair of a 6″ main by BGJWSC staff. This will affect customers in the vicinity of Atlantic Ave, Third Ave, Palm St, Pine, Maple St, Palmetto St, Holly St and surrounding areas of Glynn Haven.
The BGJWSC apologizes in advance for the inconvenience.
