In order to perform repairs to the system, including replacing a main, water service will be unavailable from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 22, 2016 in the following areas in North Brunswick:

Spur 25 to Hwy 341 via Perry Lane and Cate Rd
From Perry Lane Rd to McKenzie Dr, Including Covington Pointe, Sterling Elementary School and Jane Macon Middle School
Surrounding Areas

Local Pretreatment Program Approval

In accordance with Chapter 391-3-6-.09, Rules and Regulations for Water Quality Control, notice is hereby given of approval by the Georgia Environmental Protection Division of changes to a local pretreatment program for the Brunswick-Glynn County Joint Water & Sewer Commission. The pretreatment program provides for the administration and enforcement of pretreatment standards for industrial users of the publicly owned treatment works.

Partial Road Closure and Water Service Outage – Prince Street in Brunswick – June 9, 2016

Partial Road Closure and Service Outage Notification

In order to perform repairs to the Brunswick system, water service will be unavailable from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 9^th, 2016 on Prince Street, between Bay Street and Union Street as well as Newcastle Street, between Prince Street and London Street. Sections of the repair will require limiting traffic to one lane. Homeowner access will be maintained but all other traffic should be prepared to take another route.

Road Closure – Oglethorpe Ave on St. Simons Island – June 8, 2016

In order to repair a water service connection in the area, the 700 block of Oglethorpe Ave on St. Simons Island, between Seventh Street and Ninth Street, will be closed to thru traffic from 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 8th, 2016. Homeowner access will be maintained but all other traffic should be prepared to take another route.

Homeowner access will be maintained but all other traffic should be prepared to take another route.
